The Faculty of Nursing at Beni Suef University launched a successful workshop on activating Gemini Pro in teaching and scientific research.

Under the patronage of Dr. Tariq Ali, Acting President of Beni Suef University, the College of Nursing is organizing a workshop for faculty members entitled "Activating and Utilizing Gemini Pro in Teaching and Scientific Research," under the supervision of Dr. Abu Al-Hassan Abdel Mawgoud, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Dr. Hanan Al-Zablawy, Dean of the College, and Dr. Sherine Metwally, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development. Dr. Ahmed Mustafa, Director of the Electronic Services Unit and coordinator and organizer of the workshop, lectured in it Dr. Tarek explained that this workshop comes within the framework of implementing the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research regarding capacity building in the field of artificial intelligence and achieving the Ministry's strategic objectives of qualifying and training Egyptian university students in the use of artificial intelligence tools. The workshop focused on providing participants with practical skills to employ artificial intelligence technologies by providing the paid version of Google tools for a free year The Gemini Pro model, in particular, has been used to enhance academic and research performance. It addressed several key topics, most notably exploring Gemini Pro's advanced capabilities and how to use them in preparing educational content, developing teaching methods by creating innovative interactive lectures and educational materials, and enhancing scientific research through data analysis, summarizing studies, and generating new research ideas
Dr. Hanan emphasized that the workshop is part of the university's ongoing efforts to keep pace with the digital transformation and promote a culture of innovation within the university education environment, contributing to the university's vision of excellence in education and scientific research
At the conclusion of the workshop, the E-Services Unit thanked the faculty members for their positive interaction, affirming its commitment to providing more training courses and workshops to enable them to use the latest technological tools
